I’m going shopping this weekend. I’m going to buy a cool new outfit. Plus Payless is having another BOGO.

So you’re wondering why am I celebrating?

• Because I wrote and submitted and now have 2 completed novellas that are ready to be submitted.
• Because I could have chickened out and let the “darling little gems” sit on my hard drive taking up space.
• Because I pressed the send button even though I was scared.
• Because the rejection letter was actually very nice.
• Because even big name authors get rejected - still.
• Because even though it may not get any easier - I’m not going to give up.
• Because I still have 2 more submissions out in Publishing Limbo waiting to hear back and another on the way.
• Because I love shopping and need a new outfit for an event this weekend and this is the perfect excuse.
