Another Reveiw In
I wanted an honest review and that’s what I wanted. I knew it would be a risk since the reviewer doesn’t normally read male/male books.
But I am pleased that the reviewer found something to enjoy .
It didn’t grab me right away, but the relationship issue for Jay intrigued me enough to keep reading. Angeleque did a fabulous job of painting the emotional turmoil that exists between Jay and Darrius. I really was drawn to that aspect of their relationship, but admittedly I tend to be drawn more to the emotional than physical…I’m glad I explored new territory, or the opportunity to read this may have passed me by.

Kensington adds another African American Imprint
Kensington Publishing will launch a new imprint focused on inspirational books called “Souls of My Sisters” as part of the continuing expansion of it’s African American publishing program such as with the acquisition of Holloway House. Steve Zachiarius, Kensington CEO, has said the new imprint is “part of our continuing commitment to readers who have helped us grow and be responsive—especially our Dafina Books imprint.”
“Souls of My Sisters” is based on the best selling title of the same name by Dawn Marie Daniels and Candace Sandy.
Originally published by Kensington’s African American-oriented Dafina imprint in 2000, Souls of My Sisters: Black Women Break Their Silence, Tell Their Stories and Heal Their Spirits, is now in its 15th printing and has sold more than 200,000 copies.
