Genre Identity

I write erotic romance as well as women’s fiction and YA. I just started to blog and tweet as my other persona (non-erotic, adult, ya).

It has been very interesting the response and stats on the different blogs/personas. It has also been a very different experience because I think the other persona is closer to the real life me. So far, I think, I have been managing the balancing and juggling of having to different writer persona’s.

I am trying to keep the identities separate, but I know (eventually) they may meet up.

Another difference – my non-erotic writing is longer in word count than my adult-oriented erotic stories. Maybe that says something. I don’t know. Maybe I’ll analyze that later.

But it has me wondering. How do other writer’s do it? How do they manage two different sides of writing if they write under two different names?
